The Smith & Company Flooring team recently finished installing a decorative chip broadcast coating at a new home in McMinnville, Oregon. The house was a newly constructed 2,500 square foot single family residence. In just two days, the homeowner had a shiny new garage floor coating.
We were given two days to prep and apply the new garage floor coating in a two-car garage and a home workshop. As the house was brand new, the substrate was in great shape and the team experienced no difficulties during the project.
To install the decorative chip broadcast coating, we applied a polyaspartic for the garage floor coating. We then used a two-component polyurea to fill the joints. The color of the decorative flakes used was Saddle Tan.
As you can see from the before and after pictures below, the floor looks significantly improved. The homeowner was excited to see the final product. He was even more thrilled to find out that the floor coating will continue to look amazing for years to come and the type of coating applied by the Smith & Company Flooring team will resist staining from oil, grease, mud, wine, and anything else that might spill onto the garage floor.
