Rarely do we get the opportunity to change the overall look of a garage. However, that’s exactly what the Smith & Company Flooring team did for a local McMinnville residential home. The team was hired to complete drywall repairs on the ceiling, paint the garage walls and ceiling, and prep and apply coating on the garage floor. It was a big project that used all of the team’s skills – and we had to complete the total garage makeover in just three days.
One important factor that allowed us to complete such a hefty project in such little time was that all of the surfaces were already in good condition. There was one crack in the ceiling the homeowner wanted us to fill. There were similarly some cracks in the concrete floor, but these are typical from wear and tear and were not anything out of the ordinary.
Because we had the opportunity to overhaul the look of the homeowner’s garage, we were able to leave it looking immaculate. With the homeowner’s input, we decided to use Sherwin Williams Pro Mar 200 paint. The ceiling was painted “Eggshell” while the walls were a complementary “Dover White.” The team placed a decorative flake polyaspartic concrete floor coating system on the floor, in “Sunset Trail.”
This was an exciting residential painting and concrete floor coating project for our team. Take a look at the pictures below for the full effect.
